Program Description

Step into the glow with SmartieGLOW! A one-hour class designed for mixed ages (babies to 4 years). Enjoy 30 minutes of open play and themed, age-appropriate activities customized to the group, followed by an epic glow-in-the-dark party under black lights with fun and innovative glow items. Soothing for the littles and super cool for the bigs, this class is the perfect outing for one child or the whole crew!

  • We reserve the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrolment (you will receive a full refund).
  • If your child is absent from a class, we are unable to provide makeup classes or credits/refunds – Up to 1 free drop-in per session, per child may be offered at our discretion.
  • Strollers are to be parked outside of SmartieGym St. Clair – feel free to bring a stroller lock in order to lock your stroller to the bike rack. SmartieGym St. Clair is not responsible for any loss or theft of items left outside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can caregivers switch week by week?

Of course! We know it takes a village! As long as everyone’s listed on your account, they’re welcome to join the fun. Just give us a heads-up and introduce yourself when you enter so we can say hi by name!

Do classes repeat or change each session?

The structure stays the same for comfort and routine, but themes, songs, and activities change every session – so there’s always something new for your Smartie to explore!

Can siblings or babies tag along to a class?

We get it – sometimes you’ve got an extra sidekick in tow! 👶 Babies are welcome to tag along in a carrier or bucket seat during caregiver classes. Once they’re on the move, though, they’ll need their own spot (since grown-ups need to keep eyes on their enrolled Smartie). If you’re ever in a bind – say a sibling’s home from school – just shoot us an email and we’ll do our best to make it work!

What if my child’s nap schedule changes or a class time no longer works?

We’re super flexible! If your schedule shifts, just reach out – we’ll do our best to move you into another class. And if nothing fits, we’ll place a credit on your account for future use. We know routines change, and we want Smartiepants to fit into your family’s rhythm – not the other way around.

My child is over 3 years old, are there classes for older kids now?

Yes! We’re thrilled to introduce SmartieAdventures (drop off), where kids explore weekly missions in art, nature, heart health, and more. AND for children 4 years + we also offer SmartieArtists and Social Butterflies (both drop off) – creative, confidence-building classes that grow right alongside your little learner.

We’ll be away for part of this session – should we wait until next time?

No need to miss out! Email us closer to the Session start date – and if a class is not full, we may be able to pro-rate it for you.

Or, purchase a Drop-in Play Pack and come to drop-in play times when you’re in town!

My child will be in daycare or school during the week – is it still worth registering?

Absolutely! We have BRAND NEW weekend classes designed just for families who can’t join us during the week. Plus, we also offer Drop-In Play packs and host magical birthday parties so your little one can still enjoy all the Smartiepants fun on weekends or special occasions!

What’s your policy if we need to cancel our class session?

Life happens (and so do nap changes)! If you need to cancel your session for any reason, we’ll pop a credit on your account that never expires. You can use it anytime – for a future session, drop-in play, or even a Smartie birthday party.

Do you offer make-ups or refunds for missed classes?

We don’t offer make-up classes, but we do give you a drop-in play pass for each class you miss – as long as you let us know before or within 12 hours after the class. That way, your little one still gets their Smartie fix, and you get a fun bonus playdate later on!

Can I sign up for one-off classes/pro-rated session?

All of our programs run in sessions (same class, same time each week), but if spots are still open once the session starts, we can usually offer a pro-rated spot or a one-off trial. Just shoot us an email and we’ll do our best to fit you in!

My child isn’t exactly in the age range listed – can they still join?

Absolutely! The ages listed are just gentle guidelines. If your Smartie is a bit younger or older and the class feels like the right fit, we’d love to have them. Our instructors are great at adjusting for each child’s stage and confidence level.

Do I have to email if I am going to miss a class?

Only if you’d like your drop-in play pass for that missed class (and we think you will 😉). Just send us a quick note before or on the day of your missed class, and we’ll make sure the credit lands in your account.
