Do you offer credits, makeups or refunds for missed classes?

We do not offer makeups or refunds for missed classes. We provide 1 drop-in play pass in lieu of 1 missed class per session. Drop-in play times are offered on some weekdays and weekends at both SmartieGym locations. If you are unable to make a class, please email us before or on the day of the class. We will put a drop-in play pass in on your account.

Can I sign up for one-off classes/pro-rated session?

All of our classes are session-based, meaning you and your child would come to the same class each week for the designated session dates.  With that being said, if the session-based classes are not full by the class start date, then we can sometimes pro-rate or offer one-off classes. Can I still sign up if my child isn’t in the designated age range?

Absolutely! The class age ranges are more of a suggestion so that your little one can get the most out of the given class. We believe that if your child is just outside the specified age range AND the class works in their schedule, then they are probably suitable for the class.

Can I bring my stroller inside?

Unfortunately you cannot bring your stroller inside at any of our locations.  At Smartiepants & SmartieGym Forest Hill, strollers can be parked outside along our front windows and you shall bring a lock if you’d like. At SmartieGym St. Clair, we will provide you with a stroller lock to lock your stroller to the bike rack across from our front doors. At all locations, you may bring in your bucket/car seat and any other belongings you’d like!

How many adults can accompany a child to drop-in play?

We love that adults can come to enjoy and socialize in the space! Ideally, each child is accompanied by only 1 adult to allow the gym to feel spacious and enjoyable for all. If you do come with 2 adults per child, Smartiepants reserves the right to ask 1 adult to hang out in the entrance area if the space does feel too crowded.

Do babies come free to drop-in play?

Babies under 12 months old come free WITH a paid sibling. If the baby is coming as the only child then you must purchase the drop-in play time for them.

Can I cancel my drop-in play timeslot online?

Yes! You can cancel your drop-in play time slot by going to ‘my account’ and then the ‘drop-in play’ section. If you cancel up to 2 hours before the drop-in play start time, you will receive the pass back on your account. Within 2 hours (or after) the drop-in play start time, you will not receive a credit or refund. We’d appreciate you cancelling your time slot if you are not planning to come so we can welcome in more families. Thank you!

Do I have to email if I am going to miss a class?

This is completely up to you! We do offer 1 drop-in play pass in lieu of 1 missed class per session – so if this is your first absence of the session then definitely reach our and we can send one pass along.

Do you offer parking?

We do not offer parking, but all locations have Green P street parking available, as well as lots of free street parking available in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Ask the SmartieStaff for the Green P parking code if you are unable to find it on the street.

Do you have birthday parties?

We sure do! We offer birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays at our SmartieGym locations. We take great pride in offering the best, most seamless party experiences in the city.

What are your allergy/food policies?

All three of our locations are NUT-FREE environments. We also note down specific allergies that we have in each class and make mention of them during the first week of class. Please make sure your child’s profile is updated to show all current allergies & special dietary restrictions.
